Getting around Rusutsu without a car
Short answer: inside the resort you're fine. Outside it, buses are rare and taxis are few — the practical fix is renting a car only for the hours you need.
Most international visitors arrive at Rusutsu by resort coach from New Chitose Airport or Sapporo.
